This painting is from a series of paintings from a group show called Unleashed held at Toi Poneke Gallery, Wellington in 2006. These paintings explored children’s role play games like cowboys and Indians and kings and queens and other games like hopscotch. They are from memories of my childhood growing up in Kelburn, Wellington.
