The Path to the Duckpond
The Wellington Botanical Gardens will always have a place in my heart. I grew up nearby and often played make-believe games there and years later on returning to Wellington I would walk to work through the gardens. I have taken many photographs in the gardens through the different seasons. The duck pond is a popular destination. I wanted to capture the softness of the light and the dappled shadows across the path to the pond.
