About my art career
I have exhibited my paintings regularly since 2005 in group shows throughout the Wellington region, including annually in the Kapiti Coast Art Trail as an artist in studio, and exhibitions at Toi Poneke (where for many years I had my art studio) and at the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts.
I studied fine arts in Sydney in the 1980s, completing a Bachelor of Education (Art) at City Art Institute, with majors in drawing and photography.

In 2000, I returned with my family to New Zealand to live after an absence of 20 years. I took up painting seriously in 2005 at Inverlochy Art School in Wellington and was awarded two annual awards, the Inverlochy Art School Painting Award and Overall Painting Award.

I now live in Paraparaumu Beach, where I have a home studio and continue to study art techniques through workshops and local artist networks.
