Fallen Angels

Fallen Angels is a series of photographs of driftwood that I began in 2022. Drifting at sea for weeks, these artefacts of nature are washed ashore to lie buried and forgotten until a moment of ‘celestial’ light reveals their beauty. They sleep caressed by silky sand, festooned with lacy sea froth, slowly sinking into nothingness.
