Frida was content
This painting began as a life drawing in a studio class. I was never that happy with it so in 2023 I took the image into Procreate and tried out some different ideas, including adding clothes to the model and adding toes to her outstretched foot.
I was much happier with the revised painting. The title pays homage to Frida Kahlo whose artwork I adore.
