Ultimo Afternoon

I painted this scene from a photo taken outside the City Art Institute print department in Ultimo, Sydney, where I was studying fine arts in the 1980s. It brings back a lot of memories of Sydney back then, and the freedom of being an art student in the city. The painting was bought by some friends of mine at the Island Bay Art Auction.
