Pensive Pier
High contrast, black and white, moody photography was my first love when I studied fine arts in the 1980s in Sydney. I have recently returned to it. On the beach nearby, the old stormwater drains are crumbling into the sand and look like a pier. This late afternoon the beach and Kapiti Island were brooding under dark skies.
