Secrets
This painting is from a series of paintings I exhibited in a group show in 2006 called Unleashed. The six paintings explored children’s role play games like cowboys and Indians and other games like hopscotch. They are from memories of my childhood growing up in Kelburn, Wellington before the days of TV and electronic games when kids had to rely on their inventiveness and imagination.
